Born in 1984 and hailing from Bologna, Italy, Francesco Bonora is currently considered one of the most interesting talents in Deep House. Francesco began his electronic music adventure in 1999 at the age of 15. Two years later at the age of just 17, Francesco earned a regular residency at famed European club, Cocoricò. During Francesco’s residency, many quickly noticed his talent behind the decks, allowing Francesco the opportunity to play alongside some of the of the biggest techno & house DJs in the world. His eclectic and driving selections, with a unique ear for many different styles has helped Francesco focus and develop his productions, allowing Francesco to release his first single in 2006. Since then, Francesco has had many successful releases. The years 2009 and 2010 have been clutch for Francesco, with important releases and charts in many “top 100″ of the main digital shops. During the following years Francesco has released various 12″ and digital MP3s with important artists and remixers, such as Marcin Czubala, Rick Wade, Pezzner, Felipe Venegas, Dave Ellesmere, Daniel Sanchez, James Teej, Dani Casarano, SCSI-9, Karol XVII & Mb Valence, Alejandro Vivanco, Jorge Savoretti, UGLH, El Mundo & Satori, Samuli Kemppi. In addition, Francesco had the chance to remix artists like Maya Jane Coles, M.In, Patrick Zigon, Jeff Bennett, UGLH, Cosmic Cowboys, and Thyladomid. Andreas K. and Sergej K. – better known as Drehwerk – came into contact with electronic music very early on. Andreas, whose work as a light and sound designer at different events gave him many insights into the DJ scene, soon became a familiar name in electronic music. He began pursuing his interest in the genre by creating his own first tracks on his computer before turning to DJing. He made his debut as a DJ in 2002, playing his first technoid sounds at various clubs. It wasn’t long before his enthusiasm spilled over to his younger brother, Sergej, who started off rocking the turntables – and the crowds – with house sound in 2005. After some time, they decided to launch a joint project, which they dubbed Drehwerk, to bring their distinct flavour to the musical world. What they achieved was a groovy driving style inspired by Chicago and Detroit House with modern elements of Techno and Miniaml, a unique sound experience created from their depth of feeling for the music! In 2006 they start with their first digital EP, which took the clubs by storm and also hit high in the Beatport, Juno and iTunes charts. Today, Drehwerk are working on their vinyl releases together with Brothers Vibe on Mixx Records, New Jersey and Artists from Frankfurt like Chris Wood, Meat and Dorian Paic for the Vinyl Labels Houseworx, Underground Ltd and Inclusion Records.

Terry Lee Brown Junior is back on Plastic City with his new 4 track EP “Baltimore”. Here we have two great remixes, a dub version and the original. The first track is the pumping Bas Amro Remix. It´s a little bit techy and would rock every dancefloor at the maintime! The second one is the Aki Bergen Remix and it sounds more minimal than the other ones. Also we have here more elements from the original included! The third one is from Terry Lee Brown Junior himself. It’s the Dub Mix of the original with less vocals and a straighter beat programming. The productions are very accurate, the minterplay of moods, sounds and emotions is functional and sexy, very concidered and perfectly restaged. Toronto resident Daniel Dubb is a name to watch closely over the next few months. With releases and remixes out on VIVa, 8Bit, Rejected, Supernature, Area Remote and Saved, Daniel has proven himself to be “someone to watch out for”. Opening for Steve Lawler at his Infamous Lights Out Miami show at Winter Music Conference 2010/ 2011, and BPM Festival in Mexico, as well as playing alongside a handful of other A-List Dj’s, Daniel has shown his talents not only as a Producer but a DJ as well. Mannheim based Plastic City has been around for the best part of two decades now, working with some of the most exciting artists in house and techno and maintaining an output of electronic music that is unrivaled. Now the label behind artists such as Terry Lee Brown Junior and The Timewriter is looking towards the release of the debut album from the awesome Nikola Gala. He is part of the exciting wave of Greek talent that has risen through the ranks of the house and techno scene over the last decade. He is a prolific producer who has released music on some of the hottest label around including Rekids, Ibadan, his own Escada Music and of course Plastic City. Away from the studio he has travelled the world as a DJ and maintains a passion for underground music that has only grown over the years. Gala’s debut album “The Woman I Love” is a distillation of his years of experience in dance music and draws on an array of musical threads to weave a stunning audio tapestry that is a reflection of the many sounds of the dancefloor. All ten cuts on the album are aimed squarely at the club, with an energy racing through the album that doesn’t let up for a second. Yet the LP is in no way a one-dimensional work, skipping between elements of deep house, techy minimalism and uplifting big room anthemics it draws you in to the experience from beginning to end. From the sax house antics of “Bring in Da Funk”’, through the loopy brilliance of “A Voice From Outer Space”, the vocal excellence of “I Was So Wrong” and right through to the closing tech fuelled opus “Timeless City” the albums truly is loaded with audio gems. Born in Yerevan, Armenia ‐ Garry Mkrtchyan is the man acting as DJ, musician and producer under the stage name Fabien Kamb. Making his first musical steps back in the 90’s, while being totally blown away with the ever‐growing electronic sounds, Garry made his initial attemps in starting a career as a producer as he started to research sound production and engineering. During this period of time, Garry collaborated with many like‐minded people, eventually finding a production colleague and true friend in Ashot Babayan (also known as Krummstoff), with whom he founded the duo “Mad and Spectral“. Creating numerous tunes based on organic house rhythms while deeply flavored with jazz, funk and soul music, the duo introduced a solid track record in collaboration with many vocal performers and session musicians. Moving forward MaS launched another project by the name of Salt Sweet which was mostly oriented at creating progressive house tracks and later on evoked two separate aliases: Fabien Kamb (for Garry Mkrtchyan) and Krummstoff (for Ashot Babyan). Fabien Kamb’s angle concerning the ever‐evolving house music trends and his sense of self confidence places him among the internationally renowned DJs and producers of our time. The music of Fabien Kamb is a pure reflection of the whole spectrum of his musical researches and sound engineering experiments, which at this point are mostly concentrated at tech- and deep house and are reflected in his album which was released on Plastic City end of september 2011 in cooperation with Low Flow Records from Armenia. His everlasting curiosity and his ability to melt the vibes of the clubs into his tracks have made way for his album “Origin” and it’s 11 ecstatic tunes that cut right to the chase – both from the angle of musicality and sound engineering.

The hessian-born Basti Pieper opened his first chapter of his electronic being in 1999. In 2003 he became resident of Frankfurt’s U60311 club and the Darmstadt Room 106 club. Meanwhile he expanded his musical knowledge and started working at “Delirium Rec.“, a Frankfurt record store where artists like Ricardo Villalobos , Toni Rios , Chris Wood , Ata and Heiko MSO have worked as well. In 2007 he founded his own record label “Herz ist Trumpf“, on which many renownd artist from across the globe have released their tracks. He also created a sublabel called “Herz ist Trumpf Subtil“. His first own production “Loop den Tag – Pieper & Dalinger“ has been released in 2008. A year later Cocoon licenced “I love you“ by Basti Pieper fest. Eddy Pirat for the “Sound Of The Tenth Season“ compilation of Sven Väth. The same year Basti Pieper became resident DJ of the Level 6 club in Darmstadt. There he hosted “label nights“ with guests like Galuzzi , Ruede Hagelstein,Ahmet Sisman and others. In 2010 he founded another label “Robot Chers“. Beside his resident gigs at Level 6 he also performed at Monza and the Cocoon Lounge. Basti Pieper himself is hosting his “label night“ at Dora Brillant in Frankfurt with guests like Sascha Braemer. Marcus Meinhardt and AndHim. Hence there is a lot in motion and one is entitled to be excited about the development that this artist will surely make. Based on the South Coast of England Junior Gee has been involved in the House Music scene since 1996. Regular DJ appearances for respected events across the South Coast, such as High Tide, Real House, Science, Amplified Sessions, Full Circle, and Junk Club, have stood him in great stead for his future gigs in the Middle East and South America. In 2009 his career really began to take off with the release of a handful of EP’s on Killawatt Recordings, as well as taking up residency for the label across the globe and hosting the Podcast show. Junior was very busy in the studio in 2010 with releases on Cubism, Tokio Recordings, Endemic Digital, Evasive, Killawatt (UK) and Love Hertz (Germany). His “The Day Is Yellow” track featured on the Plastic City Radio Show: Season 3 mixed compilation by Gorge, with a follow up remix for The Timewriter on the Mannheim label. 2010 finished with Junior mixing the Welcome To Plastic City 2495 compilation, which featured tracks from artists like Terry Lee Brown Junior, Greg Parker, The Timewriter, Daniel Dubb and Aki Bergen amongst others. Early 2011 will see him take the reins of Killawatt Recordings and his debut “Southside Hustle EP” will be released on Plastic City with his artist album to follow later in the spring. And here we are…eleven stomping deep and techhouse tunes will be release this month. Juniors new album “As Day Breaks” is a new stepstone in his amazing carrer. Watch out for it.

Dejan Milicevic was born in July 1979 in Belgrade, Serbia, at the time of ex-Yugoslavia. His early musical influences came from his older brother Alexander who was repeatedly playing fresh tunes of the bands such as Ministry, Front 242, Front Line Assembly and many other alternative new wave electronic sounds. Dejan fell in love with techno-music back in the early 1993, while attending some of the first parties ever made in Belgrade as a young clubber. He was deeply fascinated by the magic tunes played by the DJs at the time, as well as with the feedback they were getting from the enthusiastic Belgrade crowd. That’s when he started seriously wondering what is it like to be on the stage. By the beggining of 1995, as a 16 year old boy, he started performing in a small Belgrade cult-club called Omen together with the wellknown DJ Boza Podunavac, whom he regards as his musical guru. In August 2005, Dejan joined a project with BELEF (Belgrade Summer Festival) to launch a performance with Dusan Skovran String Orchestra. Due to the highly enthusiastic response from the audience and the media, this techno vs classical music fusion was succesfully reprised in a couple of public performances. Starting with 2005, Dejan has made and produced techno, hardgroove, minimal and house music for various labels, resulting with more than 30 releases, and continually surprising his audience with new and interesting stuff coming from his musical kitchen.

Matthew Hoag’s creativity provides the best results in the sun, salty water and all year long summer environment. Or in his own words: “I am Mediterranean by breed and Latino by soul. I am a passionate guy.” He experienced his first club night as a 12 years old boy and instantly fell in love with the concept of spreading the positive vibe among people with the music. His passion for warm tech-house has taken him to a non-stop around the globe journey, performing in countries such as Brazil (Experience Festival), Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Serbia (Exit Festival), Greece, Austria, Germany, Belgium (I Love Techno) Luxembourg, USA (WMC), UK, France Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia as well as his favourite place to be – Ibiza.
